Comments: David that is the question everyone wants to know. Some think its triples, some say one of everything up to a #3 while others say all you need some hooks and duct tape. No approaches over 15 minutes and not too many climbs over 80' so...

Comments: Are you entering these routes from memory or strait from the book? IMO Mtn Proj is better when its done from recent experience of the route, not from the worst guidebook author North America has ever known. When I started leading trad I tended to put almost all of my trust in the authors of the guide that got me there. If one was to see these ratings and go hop on a line blindly thinking its a safe 5.? they could end up on the ground, especially at a crag that hasnt seen traffic for a long long ... more >>

Comments: Take note that these descriptions are completely sandbagged and have nothing to do with modern understanding of "standard trad rack". Most of the routes have almost no gear that will hold.

Comments: That is a good crack, just a month and a half ago I spent some time opening the gear placements back up with a nut tool. The crack fills in with dirt and vegetation pretty fast.

Comments: This route should be avoided until July of 2017 for Peregrine Falcon nesting. They have nested here in the past and keep coming back.

Comments: A route is a route. Its now open for others to climb on and know what to expect instead of some old CT guidebook that guides people to climbs that really suck. I also believe in heckling people that enter sucky routes. I'd love to see some more people try it.

Comments: Jeremy, was this a true onsight or a CT "TR flash" onsight?I have to ask since most folks who grew up around here TR the shit out of the crags for years before leading 5.8. Personally I find Forearm Frenzy to be much easier of a climb all while having a true modern grade.

Comments: "20 feet tall 10 feet wide and several feet thick."
Sounds like half the climbs in this area to me.

Very few West Rock climbs are without death blocks, it is not a typical sport crag.

Comments: At least the kids are outside playing in the woods instead of inside a car shooting up after robbing some old lady and breaking into a few cars right?

Is this place worth a visit some day or is it mainly a local crag?
