Comments: This climb is amazing (and sorta new) and immediately to the left of pocket protector. i find it noticeably harder than pocket protector by far, the 2nd/3rd bolt crux is supppper sequence dependent and not that easy, same with the top. If PP is 10a this is 10c or so.... maybe i was off that day idk

but amazing climb, well bolted, cold shuts up top.

Comments: you can either statically and very strongly climb up the crack to the left, or get in a frog stance and boulder/throw way hard up and right and slap the slopey ledge and scurry up the flake to clip the 2nd bolt. this flake is DELICATE, i felt vibrations as i walked on it this year.

sitck clip 1st

not bad, fun warmup for the area. tricky move to earn the jug after the 2nd bolt. scored a bail biner on it today.. is it yours???

Comments: Got up for the 2nd annual 4/20 send yesterday. A bit cleaner than last year, all bolts and anchors in great shape. Tread lightly in the spring as the nature of this rock can be frail after seasonal changes. No rockfall besides pebbles yesterday! great adventure again. kinda feel that the 11 crux is V4, but so fun

Comments: Loooooong son

amazing and kinda easy to the mini roof, then substantially more difficult from mini roof to chains, you are pumped working this next 35 feet to the cold shuts.

but get psyched this thing is amazing AF

Comments: save for Rock Whisperer and Rancho, this is thee best harder route at the spur. literally throws everything at you, stem/press, razor pocket(hand foot match this thing), traverse ledges and a heady move up and out of the corner towards the top.

spur testpiece

Comments: the infamous block fell off last summer, the block that offered the ledge for the mantle type move once you are topping out the layback crack off the arete. this ledge is now 2 feet lower and offers an amazing jug instead of a flat ledge that ive watched so many people try to awkwardly mantle and whip. seems easier now and not run out at all for that move.

this microwave size block was sitting there for months and months and it appears some dingus trundled it down the hill, pretty sad, that thi... more >>

Comments: Got er done on 4/20/16 on a bluebird day. Wonderful bolt line with excellent protection every step of the way. Major kudos to whoever put in that contour traverse to the base of pantha and establishing this wonderful fin.

A little bit of a pebble rain pulling ropes and some moves but other than that i found everything to be just fine (BRING helmet yo!). The last 5.10 pitch to the top is full 3 stars, so good. Amazing summit and clean raps the whole way. very interesting and fun crux at the 5.11... more >>
