The Stranger
Aug 28, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Felt more like .10b. Unsecure feet on the left side “slab” led to an interesting few moves above the last clip. Extend the anchors for top rope to avoid rope drag.

Johnny Utah
Aug 28, 2022 · Lead / Redpoint. Fell at the chains on my first attempt right before clipping. Good fall zone even for such a big one. The “crux” for me as a 5’5” individual was really figuring out beta for the chains. Staying left and leaning out to clip was more secure. The big move in the middle of the route isn’t so bad if you can get a high right foot, mantle well off the lower left hand rail and reach up with your right hand before pressing off the foot and mantle to catch the right hand jug.

Afroman Jr.
Aug 28, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Belay from below the sharp tooth block and then leader shouldn’t place until on the obvious ledge. A .75 is a solid first piece. .2 Z4 cam is perfect for in the middle and a #2 is good after that. A #5 is actually pretty nice in the right crack system up towards the top. Those four pieces are a good base line to get up with minimal gear.

Aug 28, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Pretty run out on chossy slopey slab at the top for about 12 feet to the anchors. Until it’s cleaned up I wouldn’t recommend this route over split crack for new trad leads.

Split Crack
Aug 28, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Good placements up until the last moves. Anchors up top are pretty far up and are just bolts. Bring a long top rope setup to avoid rope drag if you want to set a top rope for others. I used a 30ft piece of coordelette tied into a quad and that seemed perfect

Stolen Moments
Aug 28, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Amazing trad placements. Start in the left corner crack and then climb the seam on the right rock face. 1 rack from .3-3 gets the job done minus a .5. A second #3 would be nice.
