Comments: Is The Spot the spot with The Egg? I have not been to it yet but it looks cool! Also in this general area is the roadside Fiber Optics Boulders as well as a few other random spots with potential and more exploring to do!

Comments: ok so no photo cred. hillbilly chipendale is likely a troll. and if not then weak sauce to steal this photo from my shit and not give any credit to me the photographer or the pro climber charlie barrett. also hillbilly punkass is likely lying about several of the test piece projects in the stoner cave since not a single local in many years has not heard of them or knows anyone that does and some of the strongest in the area can not repeat them so either it is BS or holds broke or they are mega s... more >>

Comments: LOON LAKE - Lake Tahoe Bouldering Area - October 2015
>
The Getaway Slabs and the adjacent Getaway Boulders are on PRIVATE PROPERTY and now have NO TRESPASSING signs currently in place. Everything across the creek downhill and west of the Rubicon 4x4/Jeep Trail and the main Loonies bouldering area is now, unfortunately, PRIVATE PROPERTY that is closed to trespassing of any kind. Problems #5-34 on pages 96-98 inside the current edition of my Northern California Bouldering by SuperTopo are ther... more >>

Comments: This is one of the best looking direct lines on the wall but there is a flake above midway that imo is hollow enough to be careful of. If the flake does not break then this is a great route!

Comments: the sand has gone down since back in the day so the stand may be v5ish now when it is low? the sand fluctuates seasonally but overall gets lower and lower decade by decade-ish. my friends and i used to do the dyno move in our street shoes so that is maybe not that bad unless we were a lot stronger than we thought or something broke - maybe v4/5ish. the move is simply good smearing and deadpoint technique with a medium size reach - I'm 5.10 with a +3" ape but my bro who laps it too is 5.8ish. the... more >>

Comments: not sure if this is an fa. have you talked with ken ariza? he cleaned that whole boulder and he and elliot and sean brady and i did a lot of variations and link up fa's that are not in jimis, tresas or my books, yet. most of the stuff on the developed boulders up there has been done but just not listed anywhere, yet. but it could be an fa! it doesnt ring a bell with me.
