Comments: An amazing tower. We had warm weather and sunshine for the hike in and out, and a nice Spring blast of icy wind driven snow at the top. Classic desert tower and classic desert Spring weather. Nothing like climbing something like this with your mates.

Comments: I gave this route 4 stars because it's a great splitter and IT'S IN THE SHADE! It can be sandy and gritty if it hasn't seen traffic since the last storm. Even the most Creek worn hands should take heed.

Comments: Jake Kiesel in the cave at the top of Chunky Monkey/Curious George. His first multi-pitch, with more to come.

Comments: the photo for this area sums up what you'll find trying to climb there. avoid the crowds during the high season.

Comments: great route, some of the slings need replacing as of 12/07, one of them broke during a fall mid-Dec, '07.

Comments: when I was there in 12/2007 the route was very polished and the slings all needed to be replaced, as do the anchors. I don't think I'd recommend the line to anyone until then. But in all a neat route.

Comments: those bolted routes you speak of are somewhere in the mid to hard 5.11 on the pine creek wall.. super good sandstone face climbing!

Comments: Super sick route!! Deserves way more attention than half the other routes on the tower... The rock is unreal on the last pitch!! It is almost like pinching hardened candle wax! It feels hard for the origanl rating of 12-!! Get up on this stellar line.. You can link the middle two pitches with a 70m also...

Comments: where it says bolt ladder it means a couple of pieces of fixed pro and then empty drilled pin holes that are now too big for pins. be ready for some scary hooking (especially when its windy) and tricam placements. Other than that we used small BD nuts, HB offsets and brass offsets for all those pin scars (maybe an alien or two).
