Seeking a climbing and life health partner if it develops. I live in Ashland, Oregon and regularly travel for fun climbing adventures from Joshua Tree to Squamish, BC, Moab, the valley, and points in between. I have been climbing for 16 years, prefer free multi-pitch free climbing, enjoy putting up new routes and can aid as needed. Have portaledge will travel. Lived Telluride, CO for seven years.   Aug 1, 2017 - The money cam before the bolt on pitch 3 for us was red/yellow offset Alien. Go right to wire crack.

  Jul 18, 2017 - Pitch 3 is spicy because the flare Is shallow (does not Jam), slightly wider than fists and 10m long, ironically the last remaining bolt is at the end of this stretch. I would add one mid-way, if any gear wiggles its no good.

Joshua Tree, January 2017  Joshua Tree, January 2017  A Direct Alternate start (80’) bypassed the original three traversing pitches before the vertical pitches to the top. Start in the gully below the Potato Chip Flake, the Direct alternate has seven bolts and one fixed pin. Bring two double shoulder-length slings a #1 red Camalot for exiting the small roof to the left and a #.5 purple Camalot to protect the finishing moves to the ledge. The bottom First Lead goes at 5.7, middled 5.9 (C1), top out to the ledge 5.6.  Alternate Direct start a short way down the gully on the right below Potato Chip flake 5.9 (C1). Exit the roof left with a #1 red Camalot. The first section below the roof is setup as a short route for new climbers 5.7.  Castle Crags, CA
