Comments: Tamo is the name given to a cluster of quartzite crags located along a ridge of the Dripping Spring Mountains just east of Kearny, AZ. and adjacent to the north side of Tam O’Shanter peak. Although some of the crags are visible from hwy 77 as well as the Homestead, no one had ever managed to access it conveniently or develop any of the climbing. Comments: Everything about this photo is cool! One of the great classic Eldo pitches, and the gear you had was, well...classic.

Comments: Chris Hill here-

Usually I spell my name without the question mark at the end.

I did the FA w/ Christian Griffith in November 1986. It was the 3rd 5.13 in Eldorado SP, at the time. This was before power drills, so we hand drilled the bolts on rappel. I'm actually impressed that the bolts lasted 21 years, and thankful that they were recently replaced.

I'm glad that people still get out and have fun on that little pitch.

Comments: This is an outdated version of the proposed park boundry. It is also the least descriptive "map" I have ever seen. The sec. 7 stuff is private land, which is not shown on this map.
