Birthday Cake
Mar 29, 2024 · Bring a double rack to 2 with single 3/4 The 3rd pitch has odd route finding. Look for the gear. It’s all easy climbing and probably has some loose holds. Ran it out a bunch but likely better to play it safe. Climb to the gear.

The Big Horn
Feb 26, 2024 · Lead / Onsight. Sling the “Big Horn” as the anchor at the bottom. Bring strong cord and double it up since the back edge of the horn is sharp. Bring your usual rack for birdland but make sure you have x2 #1s If you only have one don’t burn it down low. No need for a #4 but it can be placed if you want to sew it up. Easy climbing to two cruxs first is mantling into the crack which can be done with a good Right Hand side pull into the crack. Once your feet are higher positive crimp the left and higher right hand give you passage to the top. The feet suck but hands are good. It’s basically a 5.9 move with poor feet that leads to easy ground to the top. Bring your black totem.

Nov 20, 2023 · Lead. Just bring a double since you have to build an anchor. .5 protects the final move in the shallow crack before the top. Find the finger jams, trust the feet. It’s just fine. Awesome route.
