Started climbing back in 1989. Moved to Yosemite in 1992, fell in with the wrong crowd and spent 8 seasons on YOSAR. I have accomplished 13 routes up El Cap, two routes up the steep right side of Half-Dome, and numerous Valley onsights up to 11d. Worked as an industrial and stage rigger in the off-season living in Joshua Tree, Moab, & AZ for about 10 winters. Eventually spent my career as a professional wildland firefighter/ helicopter rappeller, finalizing my advancement as a Helitack Superintendent, and recently left the Agency to focus on better and more frequent climbing, training, and a lower-ego well being. Currently redpointing sport routes up to 12a, and establishing backcountry bouldering in the Teton Valley.
