More information:
53 year old climber dude. Married with two grown daughters. Happy to say I am grandpa twice. Climbing has been very good to me since the age 13 when I got into it in 1975. I have climbed consistently all those years every year. The 40's have not been good to me though. Lots of issues turning 40 but still climb whenever I can.... New all metal right hip joint (BHR) Feb-2008. New all metal left hip joint (BHR) Mar-2015. I still go.

Eric Landmann high on the lead of this fun Double Overhang variation.  Eric Landmann leading the left hand variation to the route Double Overhang on Rainy Wednesday Tower. This climb feels harder then 5.4 on the lead and the gear at the start is OK. I disagree with the comment in the route entry... this climb is fun and interesting and especially on the lead. Finish the climb above off the mid-way ledge by climbing either of the 2 well protected and fun options left of any of the actual Double Overhang variations and you'll not be disappointed.  Final pitch of Astro TurK attempt 7-28-17. I missed getting on Green Slime, then leading Question of Balance, and then finishing on Weissner Face for the Astro Turk ascent (all the hardest lead option along Turk's Head Ridge). The final pitch I choose for this attempt is the cool over-hanging off-with crack over to the right and a bit above of Green Slime route. It felt 5.8+ on the onsight ground up. My left foot slipped on the crux and I took a fun little 10 foot lead fall.  THR pitch 4 variation. Nice little well protected and heavily cob-webbed 5.6 right of Zor the Mantle. 7-28-17. Finish buy moving out right at the top.  Ground up onsight of a THR pitch 4 variation clocks in at 5.6 - don't use the wall over to the left. This corner is just to the right
<br /> of Zor the Mantle variation. 7-28-17
