Comments: It's just a boulder up top and a walkoff. There is no bolt anchor(s) on this line. Sounds like most people move off-line and grab that sport anchor in the middle, but you basically bypass the sweet finger locking crux. Makes it easier, but it's not really the trad line. Trad, 1 pitch, approx 170ft.

Comments: This is a great rack route! Stopping at the bolt anchor takes the spicy crux out.

Comments: Walter Huber & Steve Lazano got this about 2003/4 (in a monsoon using trad) -- they said they saw evidence possibly from Hill/Grossman &/or Hubbel tagged it much earlier; 70s/80s. Maybe Allen knows. There's an .11 right next to this, also.

Comments: Elevenmile Dome, Arch Rock, & Pine Cone have good slab climbing sport and fun trad with great protection opportunities. I list these three as it's what I usually hit on a weekender of moderates. Turret Dome and others have gems as well. It's difficult to actually go wrong in this canyon.

A 70m is good to have, though not everything needs this. Personal favorite trad is Roof Bypass on Pine Cone, good continuous technical hands; Jolly Jugular is fun, Staircase is also; Moby Gr... more >>

Comments: The commanding officer allowed Paige to say goodbye as her dad prepared to ship off from Fort Dix.

Paige's mom Abby captured the moment with her camera and her aunt passed the image along to a Berks County, Pa. newspaper.

Comments: Walter Huber took on that middle route a while back; well deserved effort as he climbed through a monsoonal type storm. That guy on-site spiders (just as well as Grossman, I think) as we fired more than a few at the Ocelot before the DMP park-nazis stormed in to "protect" a public mtn for surrounding private homeowners.

We never did get in a Ruper day, though.
