Comments: I've done the Hooven-Leo start as well and the standard start. Though I found the climbing on the Hooven-Leo to be quite enjoyable, I would recommend the standard mostly because it takes a more direct line and has some great climbing.

Comments: These are fun, they have been part of my (and likely others) solo circuit for a few years now.

Comments: As described above, pitches 1 & 2 logically link with a stretched 60. The avalanche gully raps can be done with a single 60 meter rope. So a single 60 meter rope and 3 pitches is totally possible.

Here's a photo of Monday's rescue. Everyone did a great job collaborating. I wish the best for the girl who fell and her partners.

Comments: Great route, Canyon classic. Straightforward 5.9 climbing that actually protects well.

Comments: Great route to take a beginner to, less steep than G1 and not as many people.

Comments: Yes, two bolts and a purple TCU works well to protect before the second bolt.

Comments: To make a the first pitch more difficult, climb the two cracks to the right of the 5.6 crack that is the standard first pitch.
