Comments: I heard The Alcove and other walls in the main area were tagged with graffiti - just bought a can of spray paint remover and will head over there sometime next week to clean up the mess - if anyone else wants to help it would be appreciated and we can setup a time after work....

Comments: I'm in the process of looking for old pictures to compare with what is available now. Unfortunately all I've found is quite grainy. There's a large, light brown spot in and around the crack in the middle/traverse that appears (to me) that opened another key crimp to use rather than stay/match in the crack itself which certainly seemed more strenuous.

Will post pictures since this great climb needs some pictures anyways.

I could just be an incorrect and naive sandbagger in which case I'll remov... more >>

Comments: I believe this problem has broken, specifically the starting flake. Sit start on left pinch and right crimp are the only obvious starting holds now and does not feel v6. Can anyone confirm this?

Comments: I'd like to propose an updated grade of V4-/V4 for this boulder problem. It truly seems something has broken on this climb and opened easier beta/large holds. How does anyone else feel about this?

Comments: My girlfriend and I will be in St Martin Jan 17-24th - if anyone knows the areas to DWS solo in or wants to join, climb and explore, we are VERY interested!

Comments: Would totally recommend wearing a helmet in this area. Or always when standing under a route. In 2 days I saw 2 separate rock fall incidents last weekene, 1 of which would have absolutely killed a woman and an man with his dog if not for missing by a few feet. All melon sized rock.

Comments: Great rock with some really crimpy boulder problems. Bring a few pads and some great spots. Eliminate galore, can make some really hard Vgrades with sit starts.

Comments: This place is pretty cool - if still a bit brittle...

Also this area DOES NOT get sun year round. On Nov 30th it was in the shade all day.

Comments: Ah yep that was certainly the route we really enjoyed that one!

And yes Matt! Thanks for the warm welcome!! We had a blast but we're still getting a feel for the outdoors. Been tackling every 5.8 and 9 we see and we're gonna ramp it up to 10a/b the weekend after turkey day! Slow and steady since we still quite green :)

Comments: Not sure if an answer to this is listed elsewhere but there is a 3 bolt to anchor route to the left of Anchovy Caper, anyone know the rating for this/what this is called?
