Climbing the crux on gully #3, "the cockroach egg", a 3 meter high 80 degree mixed terrain in less-than-perfect seasons. Photo provided by Zhenglin Yang  What would the crux on gully #2 have been looked like in not-so-good seasons. Dr Fangyuan Chang dry-tooling the ice-less steep rock terrain at the very same position as the 2 "white" 2005 photos on 2008 Valentine's day. Photo kindly provided by Hsiaomo Chen, aka "k2mo" or "Laughing devil"  Our fearless leader, Raymond Chen, cranking up a big overhanging boulder up the pitch 2 (left alternative), where very loose rocks on his right, and he later decided to escape by traversing left, up, and right.  Pitch 3, looked very exposed and scary on the wall with those very loose rocks high above huge void, especially when leading and taking photos at the same time, where you can feel the rock you step on is moving.  Pitch 2 (right alternative), a small easy overhanging wall felt much harder than it appears at this altitude
