I am always up for climbing moderate routes and am available anytime. I moved here from the south where I used to climb mostly traditional routes on steep granite slabs. I have established numerous first ascents (ground up, hand drilling on lead) on granite face climbs in North Carolina. For an older guy, I am in pretty good shape but I never had a lot of upper body strength so friction climbing has been my favorite. I have done some mountaineering, climbing the Grand, and several routes in the Bugaboos. I have plenty of gear. Open to meeting at the gym for bouldering and top rope workouts.
