Comments: Did the alternate Napa Arete pitch start which was absolutely sweet. Trended a bit too far right and had to make a few tricky moves before the first bolt. Once established, thoughtful edging and smearing gets you to the top of the first "pillar" to a bolted belay.

Unfortunately, after the first pitch, it was more of an adventurous route finding session where I ended up making gear anchors the rest of the way. I saw tat here and there but never ended up using it. The top can be loose.

Comments: Did this as an alternate start to Napa Valley. See comment on that route.

Comments: Easily a classic route that is sporty for Unaweep. Did the last pitch of Denouement, which we did an additional roped traverse on loose rock to the right (by the tree) on the top of pitch 2 to get to the start of the route. Gear beta is solid. However, next time I would bring 8 draws and 6 alpines which would be better, since there were more bolts than I expected, especially on the last pitch of Denouement.

Comments: doubles from .3-.75, triple 1-3, double 4 and single 5 seemed to sew it up pretty well with about 10-12 runners. The beta as described is spot on and the route was surprisingly a blast. More ascents will clean up the loose rocks.

single rope rap twice on Voodoo Child, then two double rope raps get you to the ground with no hassle.
