Comments: A 70m rope wouldn't get me to the bolts on our father, but got me to a point that I could wedge into the chimney rather than have to build an anchor. From there, it was just a short scramble to the anchors.

Comments: Found 2 bolts with biners at the end, I didn't see any slings. Belaying from the little pine tree, I was able to lower off with a 70m with maybe 10 ft to spare. Other than a little inconsequential seepage at the top and bottom, the route stayed dry in the rain. Make sure your belayer wears a helmet. The top of this route may change with time. The crack is quite nice and the ending is interesting.

Comments: I wasn't sure where this route was supposed to go past the last bolt. Straight through the bulge past the last bolt seemed to add a couple letter grades. A step to the left seemed more in line with the grade.

Comments: A good route with some nice sculpted rock. Climbable from the ground. Start up the easy corner with the tree and continue up the bolt line extending the first 2 bolts.

Comments: There's another 12a to the right called Summer Side of Life. It looked pretty good but was pretty wet when I was there.

Comments: Amazing, one of the funnest trad routes I've climbed.

BETA ALERT-

Don't get suckered out of the corner by the first bolt, which is positioned to run the rope in a straight line rather than mark the route. The 5.10 beta makes a couple reachy moves up the corner on jugs before moving right to the 2nd bolt. I think the book said something about an optional #4. I assumed it was for the corner, but I would have liked to have had it halfway up.

Comments: Great route, but beware of the big killer flake just before you move right from the arete. It seemed solid as I climbed the route but became a lot scarier when I looked behind it.

Comments: The Rakkup guide gave this 3 out of 3 stars. The first 2/3rds of the route consists of scrambling up big ledges to be surprised by mounds of feces covering the last big ledge. The final 3rd has some ok steeper climbing but is still a bit dirty. When we pulled the rope for my partner's turn, it hung up hopelessly on one of the ledges (fortunately not the poopie one), so he just soloed half the route before tying in. f you're just visiting CO like I was, I wouldn't place this on your to do list, ... more >>

Comments: Great climbing on perfect clean rock with bomber gear often well below your feet. Spicy, but shouldn't be dangerous with a good belay. Don't miss the perfect mono pocket.

Comments: I followed the directions above since I didn't bring my guidebook to the crag. At the roof I traversed about 6-8 ft left and pulled the roof. It was fun, juggy, exposed climbing, but after the roof the wall was covered in an inch thick layer of lichen(had to dig around for holds), and then the anchors were on the right side of the arete. This would be a fun variation with some cleaning, and it's own anchor. I believe the description should say to stay right of the arete at the top(this is wh... more >>

Comments: Fun juggy climbing on perfect rock with good gear. I never saw a fixed pin, but it doesn't need one.

Comments: Some very nice face climbing on the first half, but the upper slab isn't nearly as good as it's neighbor. I did the crux differently than the description by matching the sloper then face climbing straight up without any high steps. Still no hard than 12a.
