Parked in Metate lot and needed to cross the road to head down to pond before finding wood sign pointing to Metate trail (#40). Follow cairns to right from main path to base of craig.

· Good situation. Pretty exposed for those with a fear of heights -- quite disorienting. Hike off the west takes you way around. Recommend rappelling.
