Note that the annual closures of the Park View Dome, The Ranch Hand, Black Creek Wall, and Sawmill Crag have been permanently lifted. These cliffs will continue to be monitored, but will only close if a new nest is spotted.
Description
Resurrection is a memorable link-up that adds a high quality section of climbing to The Dungeon! This route is a bit historical too, because it happens to be Staunton State Park's first 5.14. It only took like 10 years but the park finally has joined the 5.14 club.
Climb most of Sugar Mama through its first crux, then traverse right on what people are calling a V11 boulder problem to gain the finishing jug at the top of Tanuki. Paul originally called this 14b, but other betas were found, and it is now considered solid at 14a.
There is a bolt between Sugar Mama and Tanuki that is essential for working the route, but it is rarely clipped on redpoint. Without the bolt, this route would be epic to work. So thank you to everyone that approved this bolt placement and the development of new routes and link-ups in The Dungeon.
Location
Start on Sugar Mama and traverse right to the top of Tanuki passing the working bolt between the routes.
