Closed project

The yacht party has gotten a little out of hand and you find yourself goofing around on the bow. Better not take the plunge!

Tackle a stout opening sequence, then keep up the tension as you negotiate some delicate arete movement. When the angle kicks back mid-route, solve a wild side-switching crux with good pinches, pockets, and heel hooks on the arete. Don’t let up though. The party isn’t over until you bust through a couple more bolts worth of pumpy pockets and arete compression.

Location Suggest change

Walk climber’s right past the main Yacht Rock wall and a short, dirty arete for a couple of minutes. Look for a tall, aesthetic feature that is nearly detached from the cliff with a couple of aretes on it. This route climbs the right side of the formation’s center arete.
