Description Suggest change

I've never been as captivated by a line as I was while trying to figure out this one. I can't say whether that's a testament to the quality of the line or to my lack of discernment. This climbs a subtly overhanging face with just enough small holds to reach the top. There is a break in the boulder that runs along right side of the problem. Avoiding using this is not difficult and does not feel at all contrived to me, but it is possible others would disagree. The start to Homesick is an obvious slot in the rock directly to the left of the large crack. Work straight up through small edges and frustrating foot holds to an intense topout. I highly recommend going up the back of the boulder and cleaning off the top, as the bits of bark and pine needles that fall onto this boulder can make it feel like your hand will slide right off.

Location Suggest change

It is on the steep back side of the large boulder a little ways up from K9 Rescue.

Protection Suggest change

The landing is overall flat, but there are some big rocks to hit, so at least 2 pads are nice and more might be comforting.
