Description
Futur classic with some excellent pitches on a good rock and well bolted. Don't miss the perfect drawing topo at la Junta or Amphi bivy.
P1: Pass a bolt to gain a ledge, straight up to the corner, pass a roof to reach a technical crack, follow it to the bolted anchor. Excellent pitch. 5.11b
P2: Continue these technical crack to a big flake hanging zone. Pass the roof with good flakes, juges and jam. Bolted anchor at the exit. Good pitch. 5.10c
P3: Easy terrain to a .10 mouv. Moov left in the corner and find bolted anchor. 5.10b
P4: Bolted round slab to a flake to a corner, bolted anchor. 5.10a
P5: Technical corner with thin crack and stemming. Bolted anchor at the top. Excellent pitch. 5.11c
(With good rop management, P4 and P5 can be linked)
P6: Crimpy slab on few bolted then an easy long corner on your left, move right at the top to a bolted anchor. 5.10c
P7: Short steep wall with good hold well bolted to reach a left leaning crack. Cruising layback to a bolted anchor. Good and fun pitch. 5.10b
P8: Follow the beautiful corner. Excellent pitch. 5.10b
P9: Slab on your left to a short but good finger spliter. Reach a small roof, climb it on yout right with a crack and two options :
- go straight in the corner, technical stemming with good hold, find them ! 5.11 (?)
- go left, looks like airy traverse and pass the small roof. 5.11b
Excellent last pitch .
