Description Suggest change

This variation to Potato Chip Flake allows you to climb the awesome namesake feature while bypassing all the 5.11 slab on the full line.

Climb pitch 1 as normal, then head left up the wide crack and enjoy the pitch 2 flake. When you reach the diagonal crack above the flake, jam up and right for a pumpy 25' to an anchor at a stance. Rappel back to the pitch 1 anchor with a 60m rope.

Location Suggest change

Follow a short trail that starts left of where the Hit the Road Jack Buttress meets the road. Less than 1 minute approach to the base, which is a clean slab to the right of a large roof 80' up.

Protection Suggest change

Single rack of cams 0.4-4, some climbers will appreciate having a #6 for pitch 1
