Description Suggest change

This 50 meter mega pitch was named after the slab master himself, Eddie Begoon! Eddie put up some of the finest hard slab and face routes in the southeast and if Eddie was still climbing I imagine he would have loved this pitch!

Begin on the slab just left of The Eagle’s Gift (route). Climb up and left following a line of bolts to a small overlap. Undercling your way slightly right to pull the overlap and gain a small stance above. From here, move back slightly left and continue following the bolts through an almost blank technical crux to reach a series of knobs. Follow the knobs past a thin right-facing flake and a short runout to reach the right-facing corner on The Eagle’s Gift (route). From here, the route merges with and finishes on The Eagle’s Gift.

Location Suggest change

Located on the main Eagle’s Gift formation, this route is the obvious bolt line, just left of The Eagle’s Gift route.

Protection Suggest change

8 bolts, .2-.3 Camalots, bolt anchor.
