Description
Originally listed as "Anole Project V7" on Old Pueblo Bouldering.
Climb the shallow dihedral just left of Dr. Anole. Multiple starts are possible. I started layed back on the small arete with my left hand on a small crimp, my right hand on a slopey pinch at chest height, and my right foot out wide on the low shelf. From there, make a left hand move up to a sharp gaston then puzzle your way up to the side pull jug at the lip.
Loose rocks seem to congregate at the top out dish. You can optionally climb Dr Anole first and brush them away. I cleaned up the obviously loose rock, but some fragile holds may remain
Overall, the one sharp hold detracts from the quality but the movement is fun and the view from the wall is amazing
In the absence of a known name for this route, I'm going to suggest "Nurse Chester" in honor of my dog Chester who passed recently after 14 and 1/2 wonderful years
Location
Shallow dihedral just left of Dr Anole. From the parking area across from the Matterhorn Boulder, follow the series of trails up to the boulders at the campsite and then hang a left towards the summit of lizard Rock. Just before you open up onto the big rock face at the summit. Cut left across some smaller boulders around to the south facing face. Dr. Anole is the obvious arete and this route is the shallow dihedral next door
