Description Suggest change

Mysterious bolted route up the southwest slope of Daff Dome that appeared this summer on a line I’ve been scrambling/soloing for years. Maybe the tightest bolted route in Tuolumne and probably also the easiest multipitch established up here.

Pitch 1: up and left on knobs through a hollow section. Steepest pitch. 5.5, 9 bolts, 90ft

Pitch 2: up 20ft of runout 5.5 slab to closely bolted 5.3 knobs. 5.5, 7 bolts 90ft

Pitch 3: scramble or walk up low angle slabby knobs while clipping a few bolts. 5.0, 3 bolts 70ft

Bonus pitch 4: straight up huge knobs over the short headwall to easier ground. 5.4, no bolts

Location Suggest change

It starts right where the second pitches of guide cracks end. Far right side of the west face. Can’t miss the plethora of bolts leading up and left on big knobs.

Protection Suggest change

Tons of bolts! 3 bolted anchors and 19 protection bolts.
