Description Suggest change

Collective Action climbs the uniquely featured face of the giant flake at the left end of Community Wall. This is a fun, long pitch that goes at a surprisingly moderate grade for the angle.

Clip the first bolt and mantle, then continue with steeper climbing on mostly positive holds past 3 more bolts. From here, the angle backs off slightly and 100' of sustained easier climbing leads to an anchor shared with P2 of Mutual Aid. Halfway up, an additional bolt on the right arete allows for a bail out traverse to the Mutual Aid P1 anchor, providing access to that route's excellent P2 crack.

To descend from the top of the flake, rappel right to the Mutual Aid P1 anchor, then to the ground (20m, 29m), or rap straight down the route with 2 ropes (42m).

Location Suggest change

You can access the start from two directions:

1. Climb Solidarity and walk along the ledge to the right, with some exposed third class moves at the end.

2. Hike to the base of Mutual Aid, then scoot under the leaning pillar and scramble up to the base of the flake.
