FA: Alex Baitcher and Saign Charlestein
Washington > Central-W Casca… > N Bend & Vicinity > Exit 38 > Mt Washington > Salal Point Crags > Rabbit Hole

Description

Starts off with some face and arete moves for a couple bolts to a generous ledge. Next is a compression section over the obvious vee in the rock. Find your way to a sloping stance for the final push.

The rock is way more grippy than it looks. A bolt was added at the lip to keep people safe. For reference, the FA was done w/o a stick clip and w key sections wet and only the lower bolt clipped at the compression move bc the upper bolt on the vee wasn’t installed at the time.

Location

Starts on an obvious arete at the far left of the Rabbit Hole.

Protection

6 or 7 draws w shuts at the top. Bring an anchor if setting a TR pls.

[Hide Comment] This route is awesome. 3 stacked boulder problems of very different styles. The bottom can seep after heavy rain and in the spring, so plan on giving it a few days to dry. May 14, 2025

[Hide Comment] Physical, varied cruxes, and great position once you get on the arete. Probably a bit height-dependent. Jul 31, 2025
