Seasonal Closures:
The presence of a nesting owl in very close proximity to a variety of climbing routes, "Right On," "Orange Flake," "Kid Caligula," requires closure until the nest has been abandoned to ensure the protection of the species for the duration of the nesting activities. This closure will be in effect from February 17, 2026 until June 7, 2026; or until the nest has been abandoned.
The presence of a prairie falcon nesting in very close proximity to a variety of climbing routes requires closure of "Fat Freddie’s Cat,” “Freak Brothers Dome,” “The Weenie,” “Pea Brain,” and “The Red Obelisk." This closure will be in effect from February 17, 2026 until June 7, 2026; or until the nest has been abandoned

Description
Start about 10 feet right of Gumby Saves Bambi at a large oak tree.
Above the large, left limb on the tree, climb a short, thin crack to gain the slabby face (Variation 1). Go up to an orange knob. Above the orange knob, go up a slightly right-leaning groove to a ledge and then up to another, larger ledge. Either walk off right toward Hidden Slab or continue up past a horizontal crack and diagonal seam to the upper terrace.
Variation 1: It's also possible to start in the initial crack of Gumby Saves Bambi, then move right on a shelf that is about six feet off the ground toward the tree limb and short, thin crack. This is harder than the normal start.

Anchors: On the upper terrace, wrap a boulder for an anchor. On the large ledge accessible from the base of Hidden Slab, red, gold and blue Camalots make the anchor in a diagonal crack and TCUs and small cams work for a directional in a horizontal crack.
