Description

A winter ice line that roughly follows the Ultimate Everything summer rock line. Hike up to Broadway ledge via the climbers descent or climb Diedre if the ice looks good, then right after the exposed traverse section of Broadway ledge there should be an ice bulge to get you up and into the trees. Hike out to the base of Ultimate Everything and then adventure your way up linking whatever ice is there.

Protection

Mostly rock pro with some screws.

This is how I started Pitch 3 on the far left of the treed ledge, then traversed hard right and over a roof to some better ice.

The "easy" Broadway ledge traverse becomes a lot more gnarly with no pro and unconsolidated snow on slab.
