1) Never park or camp overnight at the access points.
2) Always park off the pavement, taking great care to avoid blocking the gates.
3) Clean up after your dogs. (Local climbers are finding abandoned doggie poop bags.)
4) Pack out all trash and TP, including picking up after others.
5) Use the outhouses if at all possible.
Description
Start up the first 3 bolts of Lava Haul then branch right to the base of the headwall.
A cryptic traverse right then back up and left gains access to the headwall. Crimp your way through the technical crux. Then keep it together through physical climbing up the arete higher. Step left at the top to an anchor shared with Lava Haul.
Easily top roped as it shares an anchor with Lava Haul.
Can also be started by climbing Kicking Ash.
