Access Issue: Private Property Details

In 2011, the Ventura Family (owner of Miguel’s Pizza) purchased the land above the cliff line, and the RRGCC’s 2017 purchase of the land beneath the cliff line and the surrounding areas ensures that the Motherlode, Chocolate Factory, and southeastern end of Sore Heel are climber-owned. The Ventura's have formed the Motherlode LLC to cover the liability of the land.

Description

This rarely climbed line starts in the seam featuring intro climbing for a few bolts before the rock gets quite chossy. Big moves between numerous completely glued jugs and edges in the middle brings you to a rest before the headwall. Good rock and holds for the last 4 bolts to the anchors.

Location

Two routes and 40 feet left of Swedish Fish. Begins climbing in the seam feature and continues up the slightly overhanging wall to good rock at the top.
