Description
This route is usually climbed as an adventurous 3 pitch route but can be climbed as a single pitch climb.
Pitch 1 (5.12-): Step off the dam and climb crimp boulder problem to access crack system. Finger crack flares to a hands pod and back to fingers. The route follows the crack, traversing a slab under a roof and climbing a wide hand crack out of the roof (crux). Continue past the roof to easy but slightly chossy crack. Bolted anchors.
Pitch 2 (5.8pg13): Scramble climbers right to a bolt and continue across an exposed traverse towards some old tat. Clip a bolt and continue around. Build a gear belay.
Pitch 3 (5.8): Climb easy offwidth to a ledge and continue by following a .75 bulge that takes you straight up through a thin crack section. Be sure to extend pro for rope drag. Continue climbing until you reach the base of pitch 3 of the trident. Build gear belay.
Descent: Rappel the first two pitches of the trident. 60m or 70m is fine.
