Description Suggest change

I went to try Authentic Battle Damage (ABD) for the first time last week and couldn't even pull on to the main line. Looking for something to do, I tried starting on the jug out left and traversing into the topout of ABD. I found this variation to be quite fun and rewarding with some nice sloper slapping and the same sketchy but fun topout of ABD.

I'd say it goes around V3/4, depending on how hard you think the topout is. Let me know if this variation already has a name. I'd be surprised if someone hasn't climbed it before.

If you're not yet ready for the V7/8, this is a very rewarding variation in the V3/4 range that makes this boulder worth a visit!

Location Suggest change

Authentic Battle Damage is located across the river on the south side at the base of the cliff leading up to Eagle Rock.

On the left side of the Authentic Battle Damage Boulder, find a large, flat, juggy hold. There's a similar hold further in the cave where you can set a heel hook.
