Description
Six clips work up past past some bulges to reach the top of the Gemstone rock. Black bolts. Two clips for the anchor; have fun and walk off to the north. It's clean enough but currently needs more scrubbing.
Location
Shady Grove is located on the back or east side of the Gemstone. From Switchback Rock, leave the trail to the right, over a small trail-retaining wall and walk south past the Rookie Wall to reach the Gemstone area. Squeeze between a boulder at the south toe of the rock to reach the east side and the Shady Grove area.
