Description
Roll On Columbia just keeps rolling!
Another mega pitch off of Big Ledge, it's best approached via Dod's Jam and begins by climbing Wishbone, 12a/b, before setting off into the new.
After a not-so-good rest, keep cranking straight up the face (leaving the crack where it veers right to the old Norseman Anchors). A boulder problem marks this transition and the hard moves just keep coming.
With desperate holds, balancey movement, and a pump that keeps on building, some say that Roll On Columbia feels like taking the Columbia Sternwheeler's paddlewheel to the face, but don't shy away. It's moves are better than any 13a at Broughtons...or Smith.
The climbing culminates with an amazing (and heart-breaking) Bear Hug sequence. Rawrrrr!
Tape up, go for it, and take in that view
