Description Suggest change

Haylie's Direct is a route that allows you to avoid the heinous scree approach to the Diamond Spire. Thin climbing off the deck follows a seam (pg13). After the hard part sling shrubs and get to the tree at the base of the Diamond Spire or use the crack below the spire. Continue up and left for the spire passing piton and few gear placement. Might be able to complete in one pitch but better left as 2.

Location Suggest change

this route is up the scree field on the right of the Diamond. It starts where the field begins to go left.

Protection Suggest change

Standard rack trending towards the smaller side of things. tree belays and slung bushes are the latter half of this route so bring your alpines.
