Warning Access Issue: Red Rock RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when wet. DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Start next to the twin cracks and climb the face to the right of the cracks. Some large huecos and flakes make this steep climb less difficult than it may appear. NOTE: Be mindful of some soft rock where the crack widens; follow the bolts and stay on the right face.

Location Suggest change

Located on the right/southwest wall inside the Rift corridor as it starts to widen. Look for the twin, parallel cracks separated by a couple feet, and a 2’ hueco about 15’ up the route.

Protection Suggest change

5 bolts to pigtail lower-off.
