[Hide Comment] Maybe I got on the wrong route. I lowered from the next bolts to climbers left of Pale Face; they are down on another ledge system. There is another set of bolts further over that I found after the fact and I don’t know what route that is.

Instead of lowering directly over the edge, I aimed to climbers left down a corner and then down the route with a few directional pieces. There is a two bolt anchor at the base.

The climbing is a lot of technical laybacking and inobvious shallow dihedral stemming. Harder than 5.9 and bad protection about 1/3 up. Plenty of spiders to chat up. Jun 5, 2025

[Hide Comment] Hi Weston. I climbed this route last year and it felt about 5.9 to me which matches the guide book. As you stated, there is another route that is climbers left which looks way harder than 5.9 to me. Perhaps you lowered off in this area? There are a set of bolts for this route up higher and climbers left of the greatest hits anchors….basically on flat ground (one bolt is loose). Hope this helps! Jun 5, 2025
