Access Issue: Previously Private Land. Recently transitioned to a PA State Park. Climbing is not yet permitted.
Details
SCPC is trying to work with DCNR to ensure climbing is approved as an activity in this new park. Climbers have been visiting this crag for decades and are currently still climbing on the cliff. If you choose go, keep a low profile, respect the land, leave no trace, be kind to other user groups, be cautious about loose rock, and DO NOT install any fixed anchors at the cliff. SCPC will be installing rappel anchors as the plan progresses. Remove all webbing or cord when you leave. Thank you!
Description
Work diagonally up and left on bottom face and find a pocket unique to Riverlands. From here work up to V in first roof. Pull this and then make the awkward body transition up the corner. Work up to the next roof and pull the right half with good holds through the crux. There is an option to bail out right of this roof. First ascent completed working the left side of the slab, but multiple variations exist to finish at the Midway Ledge and choose your 2nd pitch from here.
Location
Starts to the right of Forever Free and to the left of Forty Dogs in My Lips on the lower face.
Protection
Standard rack, with some small gear between roof sections.
