Six Pack of Beer & Nothing to Do

WI3+ Easy Snow, Trad, Ice, Snow, Alpine, 1400 ft (424 m), 7 pitches, Grade V,  Avg: 4 from 1 vote
FA: Lane Johnson, John Runge 1997
Montana > Northwest Region > Glacier NP > Snyder Lake > Mt Edwards N Face

Description

Takes the obvious left-facing dihedral, either up the corner or further left on steeper terrain. Some snow slopes here and there but pretty consistent ice flow.

Grade 5 probably means car-to-car. 1400 feet is probably an exaggeration, but it is not a short route. From the base you cannot see the top.

Location

North Face of Mt. Edwards, above Upper Snyder Lake.

Protection

Screws, descend on V-threads.
