OK, here we go. Forget what you know about rock climbing, those powers are useless here. Roman Greco wrestling, Burn the Boats, Death before dishonor.... whatever gets you there mindset engaged. Start on a shale band ledge in the back of the amphitheater, gaze at the profile of the pig awaiting you at the end of your traverse, try not to despair. Launch into the steepening traverse with solid gear. As you approach the pig (Kirk Brode describes it as a giant MnM glued to a pane of glass) decide if you are going inside, over the snout, or wrangling the beast from the outside..... good luck, I've done it all 3 ways and each one left emotional damage. Having surmounted the swine, build a gear anchor and prepare for a quality 5.10 second pitch. Don't forget to ask an OG what the name refers to.
