Description Suggest change

Really a direct start to Farewell to Arms but deserving of its own entry.

Make thin moves off the ground to a stance at a horizontal.  Place your first and only gear for the Fingers portion of the route.  From the horizontal move up and then traverse right until you are in line with the Farewell to Arms Corner.  Make easy moves up to join Farewell to Arms where its traverse ends and finish on that route.

The hardest moves are well protected but traversing right after the crux is still technical and ground fall is possible.  Once established in the corner the moves are very easy but you are completely unprotected until you get to Farewell to Arms.

Location Suggest change

10 feet to the right of To Be

Protection Suggest change

A single finger size cam and whatever gear you need for Farewell to Arms. Nuts and slings for the pitons should be enough.
