Description Suggest change

Silver Bullet is amongst the best pitches at Cougar, featuring great rock, a sustained crux sequence, and hero climbing up a steep finishing wall.

Begin on an attractive orange buttress with a few moves of seemingly featureless, crumbling slab which quickly steepens to better rock. A lieback feature is the beginning of the crux which involves sustained crimping or some wild moves or a little bit of both transitioning rightwards towards the arête to a hanging column and short crack. A rest above this leads to some reachy but fun pulls up a steep wall to a bolted anchor.

This route is fantastic and for me, a bit harder than B.A.G. It which is given a similar grade.

Location Suggest change

Just left of the Cougar Buttress chimney/alcove on a beautiful orange wall that faces up-canyon. The climb traverse rightwards towards the arête.

Protection Suggest change

8x bolts to a bolted anchor.
