Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warnings due to current fires, smoke, etc.
Description
Stand start on a good left facing side pull above head height. Make a quick layback mantle and take a slab by crack/seam up and right all the way to the top of the boulder.
This is the easiest and quickest way to get up and down the boulder (as long as it has not rained recently) if you want to set up a top top. The down climb can be quite sketchy so you might want to opt for a rappel option after working or sending a climb on top rope.
