Description Suggest change

Steve Elder's Jewel in the Crown was the first sport route developed at Crown Point. The lower part is steep, difficult, and high quality (three stars) consistent with the route's name but the upper part is plagued with slippery white lichen and moss (bomb quality).

Location Suggest change

Rap down from the top just below Crown Point's east platform using the two bolt anchor (one missing hanger) or a tree set back from the platform.   The route starts on a ledge covered with orange lichen (two bolt anchor).

Protection Suggest change

Variety of old bolts, some are rusty. About 10 draws?
