Description

Muy Hermosa! Lovers of steep slab climbs shall rejoice after picking apart this cryptic puzzle of stout, ballerina-like moves that challenge your fingertips and toes. Sustained route finding and a couple of strenuous cruxes with small crimps and pockets will keep you in suspense until the very end. Often overlooked but worth doing! Don't miss this one if this is your style of climbing!

Location

At this point in the crag, the middle blackish buttress gives way to a narrow valley of scree and steep hillside that leads to the top of the cliffs. This would be the third route from the left side of the buttress where the climbs on the hillside end..

[Hide Comment] Got on this as our warmup thinking it was STANdard Bearer (5.9 next door) bc the description says third route from the left side of the buttress - but the furthest left route is actually around the corner so we didn't see it. Lol what a surprise...tough, crimpy, cryptic crux near the bottom followed by a pumped out jug haul in the second half. Only rating it 10d since I one hung it as warmup and I have only climbed 3 11a's...but maybe I'm being hard on myself haha. Oh the belay on the steep slope sucks. May 30, 2024
