Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warnings due to current fires, smoke, etc.
Description
This is an old school but easy route to the right of "Zee Tree" in the Reid guide it is drawn but given no name. I remember seeing a name for it in one of the older books but can't remember much.. if you do, let me know!
Follow flake systems and slab to the Zee Tree 5.7 crack. Finish on that or walk of to the right on friction descent.
P1: 5.6 face to 2 bolt anchor in a wild little hole in the wall made of quartzite.
P2. Flakes/slab gear anchor in flake (poor anchor)
P3: slab through 3 bolts gear anchor at crack/corner that Zee Tree comes into.
P4: low angle corner that connects with Zee Tree. Gear anchor.
