Warning Access Issue: Camping DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Known as Squamish's hardest stemming exercise! Characterized by insecure smearing and palming over small gear, this route is a true test piece of corner climbing. The movement is slippery and sequential and the gear is small and finicky. Subtle body tension and flawless technique will serve you far better on this one than raw power and finger strength! Most find getting off the ground to be hard, but the middle section seems to present the greatest difficulties!

Location Suggest change

Located on the rim left of the top of Angel's Crest (clearly visible while climbing the upper part of Angel's Crest). Access is top down. To approach, hike to the north side of the North Gully between Second and Third peak and traverse the rim to locate the anchor. It is the corner to the skier's right of the North Star / Crack of Destiny corner.

Protection Suggest change

Mostly small cams and RPs. One .75 or #1 in the middle. Offset RPs are nice!
