Description Suggest change

The roof is an interesting layback/heel hook. Step left at the top of the crack and climb the face to the second roof. Finish on good holds and a magnificent hand crack.

I found this route to be PG-13 possibly R until you get to the roof. The base of the climb is steep so if you fall, you will keep heading down hill and risk injury. You can get some small gear but it is not secure.

There are not bolted anchors anywhere in Killer Bees South Area but a walk-off is possible

Location Suggest change

This area is located 10 meters before reaching the JC area. There are about 6 other climbs listed in the guidebook, but more variations are likely possible

Protection Suggest change

standard rack. Ball nuts and tricams could come in handy. Bring some extended runners
